First Missouri Terminals (FMT) and its affiliates (Midwest AgriChemico, Midwest Grain & Barge) have a conveyor system for unloading dry bulk materials such as fertilizer, road salt, decorative rock, and mulch. FMT unloads the dry bulk materials from barge with an excavator (3 yard bucket) on a work barge, which is connected via conveyor to a truck loading hopper. Capacity is 150 tons per hour. Truck scales are on site. Open storage and covered storage (30,000 sf nearby) are available. Dry cargo barge cleaning is provided.

FMT unloads liquid fertilizer from barge, pumps to storage in three tanks (each one million gallon capacity), and loads to tank trucks in a covered loadout building. The liquid fertilizer is ammonium nitrate solution, a nonhazardous commodity. In compliance with stormwater and water quality regulations, FMT has a protective earthen dike around the tank farm and recently completed the covered loadout building.

The grain loadout (truck-to-barge) opened in 1998 with a covered two-bay truck dump building, conveyor, and barge loading chute. Storage capacity was added in 1999. The loadout can be used for other dry bulk commodities.
