Consolidated Grain and Barge has a 350,000 bushel grain elevator at Semo Port. Its 48-inch conveyor belt can load barges at 40,000 bushels per hour, or approximately 1200 tons per hour. A 4,000 bushel per hour grain dryer is available. Inbound grain trucks (tractor-trailers) are normally unloaded in one minute at the dump pit. CGB has its own truck scale and grain sampling equipment. CGB can load outbound railcars with its loading chute.

The CGB rail-to-barge terminal can handle single cars, multi-car cuts, and unit trains. It has a rail yard with a capacity of 55 cars, and additional trackage is available on Semo Port Railroad. The tail track is long enough (1100 feet) to pull an 18-car cut and load one barge in a single move. The rail yard has grading, subballast, ballast, and track switches in place to quickly add two more tracks in the future, providing a total capacity of 110 cars. Through the SE, connection is made to BNSF and UP.

Most dry bulk commodities can be handled easily at CGB's Semo Port terminal. These include grains (wheat, corn, sorghum, soybeans), grain products, soybean meal, corn gluten, woodchips, bark, potash, fertilizers, and others. The $4 million facility opened January 1998.
